Writing a report

At our workshop last week, we had the chance to see a Bearded Dragon up close.
In Literacy, we have spent a lot of time learning about writing an effective report.
Can you write a paragraph about what the Bearded Dragon looks like? Remember to include all the features needed in an interesting report. You may develop your report with more paragraphs of information if you can.

Tropical animal workshop

Today, many of us conquered our fears. This includes myself, I have included the photo of me holding Rosie the tarantula. This was something that I never thought I would do, so thank you to you all for helping me to feel confident enough to try something new!

What was your most memorable moment from today's workshop? What did you enjoy most? What didn't you like as much? Did you learn something interesting about one of the animals?
Comment on the post to let me know.

Welldone to everyone for high-fiving spiders, holding snakes and stroking lizards. You are all wonderfully brave!

Data Handling

Last week in Downing Street class we were looking at data handling and we created our own bar graphs and line graphs. Below is a graph about Year 3's favourite subjects. What does the bar graph tell you?

Parts of a Plant

This week in school we have been learning about Plants. The first thing we did was to identify the different parts and functions of a plant.

I have posted a picture of a labelled diagram of a plant. Can you write a description of the job of each part of the plant in your posts? You might want to carry out some extra research if you are not sure.
